Last semester, we had a couple exciting partnerships with the Holland Project – including a joint exhibit that ran at both the Tahoe Gallery here on campus and Holland’s exhibit space down in Reno. Here’s a brief video of Kaitlin Bryson, one of the artists who had work in the Tahoe Gallery, which incorporated a performance – the video was shot and edited by SNC student Danny Kern (with some input and additional footage from me):

Cat in the Bag

Here are some pics from Carrie Hall’s BFA show last week – it was both an art show and a sort of opening for her outerwear company, www.letsgetbagged.com. Carrie put together whole team to realize her vision of creating snow jackets with her photography printed on them – sourcing material, researching textile printers that were up to her aesthetic and environmental standards, working with a local seamstress to make the patterns into wearable fashion – it was quite an undertaking.
